Gear Highlighting Shimmer Gel

The year 2000 brought lots of fascinating Bonne Bell collections just in time for the new millennium! The new century was full of frost and metallic textures in the world of beauty and fashion. Bonne Bell launched Gear Highlighting Shimmer Gel's in six scintillating, turn of the century stunners to glow from anywhere head-to-toe.

Gel formulas were nothing new for Bonne Bell come 2000 as they launched their iconic Bright and Shining Morning Face Gloss in 1971 followed by their famous Blushing Gel and Bronzing Gel shortly after in 1972. All three became cornerstones in Bonne Bell's line-up until the very end in 2015, while going through subtle name changes along the way, through the decades. Gel formulas were typically water-based and glided on with ease without being heavy and still letting skin breath.

There were six shades total, three warm and three cool to let all hues come through.

Highlighting Shimmer Gel:

Passion

Fusion

Bedazzlin' Bronze- A blinged-out rustic red bronze

Gold 'n Glitz- A true 24K treasure of gilded yellow-gold

Highlighting Shimmer Gels were meant to highlight anywhere on the face and body, eyes, cheekbones, Cupid’s bow, décolleté, arms, legs and anywhere that needed a brightening boost. The tints were subtle but the sheen these left behind were next level for Bonne Bell’s usual subtle shimmers they offered. A little squeeze would do!

Shimmery Color Stix also launched alongside Highlighting Shimmer Gel's for those who preferred more of a cream gleam in the slick of a stick. Stay tuned for more Bonne Bell beams...✨
