September 1976 JCPenney newspaper store ad featuring the original jumbo-sized Bonne Bell Lip Smackers at $2.50 (that'd be $14.72 today based on current inflation and worth every penny too!). You could get a free can of 7UP soda with the purchase of a 7UP Lip Smacker! It's wild to think Bonne Bell use to be sold at JCPenney in the retailers prime.
