Kiss Therapy

In late 2017, Lip Smacker unveiled Kiss Therapy. A promising new, sleek lip treatment that offers more intense lip therapy for those who need a little extra T.L.C.

(Sidenote: These made me think of the late 100% Natural Lip Smackers that have been discontinued for some years now 💔.)

A dermatologist tested formula, enriched with coconut and jojoba oils that is also packed with citrus antioxidants. Available in two formulas, one with an SPF 30 sun protection and another that is medicated.

Sunscreen SPF 30:

Strawberry- A Lip Smacker staple, this strawberry reminds of the Strawberry Jell-O Lip Smacker, but not completely. It's a very fruity strawberry and totally different from the classic Strawberry Lip Smacker.

Grapefruit- My favorite! A very tart grapefruit that reminds me of Squirt soda. Bright, bubbly and refreshing.

Superfruit- Wasn't sure what to expect from this flavor at first from the general flavor name. The packaging has pomegranates and blueberries pictured on it which I do think accurately describes the flavor. I almost get a little raspberry too.

Medicated:

Eucalyptus Mint- I was very intrigued to see how they were going to pull this off and upon using it for the first time it's a true eucalyptus aroma. Peppermint oil is listed in the ingredients but is faint and gets lost quickly from the strength of the eucalyptus oil. There is also camphor and menthol which give a cooling sensation upon application for those who love that tingling feeling. It smells very similar to Vick's VapoRub and reminds me of a day at the spa.

Overall the Kiss Therapy balms are very hydrating and provide nice relief and rejuvenation for those who may suffer from dryer lips. The SPF formula doesn't irritate my lips like some SPF formulas do nor does it dry them out. Both formulas leave a more matte finish and not glossy like classic Lip Smackers and Sun Smackers do. My lips also felt very cushiony during wear. The medicated formula feels balmy and more emollient while rubbing my lips together in comparison.
The pill inspired packaging is cute and functional and the writing is screen printed on the tube which I really like. I'm interested to see if they'll expand the flavor range for Kiss Therapy. I can easily see them expanding the product range to include a lip scrub and a glossy lip oil as well. These are available now at most locations that sell Lip Smackers, in singles, duos and a quad. I know many have mentioned finding them at Walgreens and CVS as well as here on Lip Smacker's website. These are made in the USA.

Kiss Therapy active/inactive ingredients listed on back of packaging.
